This week we have had new fibre internet installed. What does this mean as a company and for you as a customer.
As a company:
- Keeping our software at the latest versions will be easier.
- Keeping our machines windows and linux installs up to date will be quicker.
- less down time due to waiting for software/ updates to download.
- getting the latest versions of the windows install ISO will take less time.
- transfer of data needed to send over the internet will be quicker.
As a customer:
- faster windows updates.
- faster virus definitions updates.
- faster software download.
Most of this comes down to saving time. The quicker we can get things done that require the internet the more time we have to be able to get your device back to you sooner.
